New BinsThe Pavilion Bar and Áras an Phiarsaigh are both taking part in raising money for the Student Hardship Fund with proceeds from recycled plastic bottles and aluminium cans.  Since Ireland implemented the Deposit Return Scheme last year, 1.6 billion bottles and cans have been recycled.   If you want to recycle your plastic bottle at either location, all proceeds will go to the Student Hardship Fund, which benefits students in need.  Trinity has two Reverse Vending Machines in operation as well, one in the Arts Block concourse and one near the Students’ Union shop in the Hamilton.  Thanks to Jennifer Lord who works in the School of Psychology in Áras an Phiarsaigh, Environmental Services Manager John Parnell for facilitating this, and to staff at the Pav for the idea.
