Prof. Ladislav Timulak co-authored an important paper published by The Lancet Psychiatry on the clients’ reported outcomes of psychotherapy. The paper is a qualitative meta-analysis of 177 qualitative studies involving perspectives of 2,908 clients. The study shows that the clients value outcomes beyond symptom reduction such as deeper self-understanding, enhanced self-agency, and greater social engagement.
