A great day was had at the Trinity College Dublin Institute of Neuroscience 25th Anniversary Symposium and Research Day.
There were guest lectures from Prof. Colin Doherty on "Concussion: Science & Policy", Prof. Matthew Campbell on "Transcriptomic Analysis of Blood, Brain Barrier Function and Integrity", Prof. Abhi Banerjee on "Reprogramming sensory cortex for adaptive learning", Dr. Cian O’Donnell on "Biophysical constraints on synaptic learning" and Prof. Lim Kah Leong on "Identification of Glycerol 3-phosphate acyltransferase as a potent modifier of α-synuclein-induced toxicity".
There were thematic sessions on Translational Research ( Markers, Models and Interventions), Clinical Neuroscience, Psychiatry and Aging, Neural Systems, Development and Behaviour, Global Brain Health Institute Fellows, Emerging Technologies and New Investigators.
