For the first time since 2012, Trinity secured their spot in the Sigerson Cup with a 3-19 to 2-21 win over Mary Immaculate College.

Trinity started out in control with a ten-point lead at the end of the first half, but their opponents came back strong, resulting in extra time and a neck-in-neck finish.

The nail-biting game ended with a Trinity victory with a last-minute point from Darragh Dempsey. Linda joined the celebrations on the pitch after the final whistle.

Trinity GAA’s Trench Cup winners hail from 13 different counties across Ireland, including: Antrim, Armagh, Cavan, Down, Dublin, Kildare, Leitrim, Longford, Mayo, Meath, Monaghan, Roscommon, and Sligo.
