Julia Weingartner

Austrian Lektor (OeAD Lecturer)

Research Profile

Julia Weingartner studied German as a Foreign and Second Language (MA) at the University of Vienna and gained international teaching experience at Dokkyo University in Japan. Since September 2024 she has been part of the German Department at Trinity College Dublin, where she teaches German. As OeAD-Lecturer she represents the Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalisation (OeAD, www.oead.at) and provides information on study and exchange opportunities in Austria. She is especially interested in theatre and leads the German Theatre Club, where students can experience how creative work on stage supports language learning.
