Event programme

In a time of growing geopolitical tensions, it is becoming increasingly clear that security and economic policy are inextricably linked. For Hesse, security does not begin at the state borders, but rather in production facilities, research institutions, and digital infrastructures – especially in the Rhine-Main region with its globally significant internet hub.

Together with experts from politics, business, the German Armed Forces, and research, we would like to discuss Hesse’s role in economic strength, security policy capabilities, and technological future viability. The focus will be on topics such as critical infrastructure, resilient supply chains, innovative strength, and collaborations in key technologies like artificial intelligence, robotics, aerospace, and the high-tech industry.

The event offers high-level presentations, insights from industry, a panel discussion on national security responsibility, and the opportunity for personal exchange during the subsequent networking session. Hessian universities and research institutes will also present selected projects related to security and defense technology.
