Partnerships
Work with us to shape secure and resilient digital futures
The Trinity Centre for Digital Security and Societal Resilience is a platform for collaboration across research, policy and practice. We work with organisations that want to address urgent digital security challenges, translate research into real-world impact, and strengthen resilience across society.
Drawing expertise from computer science, engineering, law, business, medicine, social sciences and the humanities, the Centre connects disciplines and sectors around shared problems that no single field can solve alone.
We are particularly interested in partnerships that combine research excellence with practical application in areas such as trustworthy AI, critical infrastructure protection, cyber risk, digital policy, privacy, trust, democratic resilience and public engagement.
Why partner with the Centre?
We offer partners access to a multidisciplinary research environment that can help them:
- explore emerging digital security and resilience challenges
- co-develop research projects and competitive funding proposals
- translate research into tools, methods, demonstrators and policy insight
- engage with expertise across technology, governance, society and regulation
- connect innovation, evidence and public value
- build skills, capability and informed leadership in a rapidly changing environment
Partnership Pathways
Research collaboration:
We work with academic, industry and public-sector partners to develop interdisciplinary research projects, demonstrators and funding bids at Irish, European and international level.
Policy and public-interest engagement:
We engage with Government departments, regulators, public bodies and civil society organisations seeking evidence, insight and informed dialogue on digital security, AI governance, resilience and trust.
Innovation and research translation:
We are interested in partnerships that take research out of the lab into applied settings, organisational practice, prototypes, policy tools, public engagement formats and challenge-led pilots.
Skills and capability development:
We welcome opportunities to develop executive education, specialist training, seminars, roundtables and talent development initiatives with partners in industry, Government and the wider public sector.
International collaboration:
The Centre supports strategic international engagement, including collaboration with peer institutions and research networks.
