World’s first film in ancient Sumerian released by Trinity filmmakers
The film, starring Trinity students and produced and directed by Professor Martin Worthington, was shot entirely in ancient Sumerian, and is available now on YouTube with subtitles in 20+ Languages including Irish and Arabic.

Trinity College Dublin has awarded a posthumous degree to the poet and author Christy Nolan who studied in Trinity’s School of English for one year, and who died in 2009.
