What does it mean to bring a forgotten book back to life in translation? SMALLTOWNNOVELLA by Ronald M. Schernikau was a cult debut novel that had to be reprinted within days of its original publication in 1980, yet it has remained unknown to Anglophone readers until now. Translator Lucy Jones will be in conversation with fellow translator Frank Wynne about her new English translation of this classic. All are welcome and admission is free: please book your place here.
