Biography
Freda Neill is the Clinical Skills Manager in the School of Nursing and Midwifery where her primary responsibilities include leading the clinical skills teaching team, developing the clinical teaching components of the undergraduate nursing curriculum and supporting the clinical tutors teaching in the practice areas. From 2001 to 2007 Freda was the Project Manager for the Transition of Pre-registration Nursing and Midwifery into the college. In 2018 after an initial project of 3 years the Trinity Simulation Suite was opened. Currently we run courses in clinical simulation for all disciplines in our school and schools within the Faculty of Health Sciences. We have expanded our service from the TSS (Trinity Simulation Suite) to include delivering courses in partnership with our associated services. In 2020 I was the lead person who set up the Contact Tracing Center in the Business school in TCD along with volunteers from the Faculty of Health Sciences, the HSE and volunteers from a variety of other services.
