Ms. Sarah Barrett
Assistant Professor, Radiation Therapy

Biography

Sarah is a graduate of Trinity College and joined the Discipline of Radiation Therapy in October 2015. With over 9 years' clinical experience, most recently at a Clinical Specialist level, she has a strong background in clinical practice. She completed her MSc in Treatment Planning in January 2014. Her research interests lie mainly in lung cancer and personalisation of radiation therapy. Her current work is investigating the personalisation of lung radiotherapy prescriptions by clinical evaluation of a mathematical modelling approach.

Sarah is member of the Irish Institute of Radiographers and Radiation Therapists and European Society of Radiotherapy and Oncology. She has undertaken international site visits in a consultancy role and was an invited faculty member on an International Atomic Energy Agency training course in Kazakhstan.
