Congratulations to Dr Wahaj Habib (Discipline of Geography) who was named Ireland's Arctic Frontiers Emerging Leader for 2025. As one of the selected participants for this program (out of about 200 applicants globally and 10 applicants in Ireland) funded by the Embassy of Ireland in Norway and the Marine Institute Wahaj was invited to small group meeting in January to travel through Northern Norway.
