Orla Dineen

Occupational Therapist

Orla is an occupational therapist who joined the Trinity Disability Service in July 2023. Orla graduated with a B.Sc. in Occupational Therapy from Trinity College Dublin in 2023. Across her placements, Orla gained experience working as an occupational therapist in multiple settings including disability services, mental health rehabilitation and acute surgery. Orla is looking forward to bringing her experience and the skills she has learned from these settings into her new role in the Disability Service to provide support to students with occupational needs during their university journey.

As Orla has recently graduated from Trinity, she is very familiar with the campus and the demands of the student role. Orla spent most of her Trinity experience in St. James’ campus and is now very eager to develop more student spaces in campuses such as St. James’ to ensure that these students feel as connected to Trinity as possible.

Orla has a keen interest in music and has achieved her senior certificate in piano. Orla also enjoys playing sports such as Gaelic football and basketball.
