This evening course will run subject to sufficient numbers enrolling – there will be a limited number of places available.

In this intermediate course, learning and reading ancient Greek is combined with an exploration of the time period's literature and culture. Building on the basics of Greek grammar acquired at Beginners level, we will consolidate foundations to begin reading unadapted works in Attic and Koine Greek.

All texts used will be specified by the tutor at the beginning of the course.

Time, Date, and Place

This course comprises of one class per week over two academic terms, commencing in September 2023 and recommencing in January 2024. Classes will be taught in a classroom on the Trinity campus as well as live streamed. Sessions will not be recorded.

Course Fees

€275 full rate, €150 concession rate.

The concession rate is available to all those retired, over 65s, and those on a government pension / payment plan and the unwaged, including second- and third-level students.
