Celebrating SciFest@TCPID 2026
What an incredibly special, joyful, magical day we had on Thursday May 28th at our annual SciFest@TCPID exhibition with the brilliant team from Abbott.
Thank you to the wonderful team of mentors who worked with our students to develop their projects over the past 5 weeks - Ronan Mac Donell, Patrick O'Rourke, Oonagh Hague, Dermot Turley, Catriona Webb, Lin Xu, Kate Peters, Leanne Murphy, Upama Ghosh, Martin Gordon, Marie Sheil and Catriona O'Reilly. Thank you to the unbelievably talented Kelly O'Sullivan for creating the beautiful artwork for all the project boards.
The biggest thank you to Rachelle Waters for managing this entire project over the past few months and matching the mentors so perfectly to each of our students.
Sheila Porter George Porter Hugo Rowsome and Aoife Wadd, we are so proud to be a part of your SciFest CLG programme.
Thank you to our Provost Linda Doyle for taking the time to come to our event and meet with our students.
Finally congratulations to our brilliant 11 students, Jack, Ava, Andrew, Alex, Aidan, Aaron, Niamh, Isabel, Alan, Makayla and Conor for all your hard work and for presenting your projects so well yesterday.
The event was so special and we can't wait to do it all again in May 2026.
