Congratulations to Dr Alun Morton Thomas for the publication of his dissertation with SBL Press
"Transformations in Translation: Comparing Qumran Aramaic Job and Old Greek Job". The book investigates the earliest known translations of the book of Job into Greek and Aramaic. Thereby, showing the similarities which both these translations share, but also ways they are different from later biblical translations.
Alun completed his doctoral work under the supervision of Prof. David Shepherd and has expressed his gratitude to his supervisor and all at the faculty in TCD. The book is now available to order from SBL Press and other retailers.
