Gallery: Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for the National Intellectual Disability Memory Service

The Trinity Centre for Ageing and Intellectual Disability is delighted to announce the recent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Trinity College Dublin, Tallaght University Hospital and the Daughters of Charity Disability Support Services.

The MoU has enabled the development of a new memory service in Ireland specifically for people with an intellectual disability.

The National Intellectual Disability Memory Service is committed to improving the early detection of dementia in people with an intellectual disability and to offering post-diagnostic supports including information on living well with dementia.

This development has been made possible by support from the HSE National Dementia Office and funding through the Dormant Accounts Disbursement Fund. For further details, email NIDMS@tcd.ie
