Electoral Registers
The electoral register for use in College elections have been drawn-up in accordance with the Schedule 2 (Electorate and Register) to the Introduction Chapter in Consolidated Statutes, 2010, and the Board decisions of 5 May 2010 (Minute BD/09-10/242), 2 March 2011 (Minute BD/10-11/157), 5 November 2014 (Minute BD/14-15/076) and 22 May 2024 (Minute BD/23-24/214). This register is used for the following elections:
- Board
- Council
- Dean of Faculty
- Head of School
- Head of Discipline
- Faculty Executive Committees
- School Executive Committees
- Other elections as Board may time to time direct.
All queries about the registers should be sent in writing to Victora Butler, Secretary to the College/Director of Governance, West Chapel or by email to secretary@tcd.ie as soon as possible but no later than 12 noon on Tuesday 17 February 2026. All queries concerning the draft register will be considered as quickly as possible and at any rate no later than 5pm on Wednesday 18 February 2026 and we will advise of the decision.
The Secretary's decisions may be appealed to an Appeals Committee comprising the Vice-Provost/Chief Academic Officer, the Senior Lecturer/Dean of Undergraduate Studies and the Director of Human Resources (or nominee) by sending an email to secretary@tcd.ie or by letter to the Electoral Registers Appeals Committee, c/o Secretary's Office, West Chapel by 12.00 noon on Tuesday 24 February 2026.
The final register will be published on Tuesday 10 March 2026.
