Committees
The Committee Papers website is the central source of the Terms of Reference, Membership, Agendas and Minutes of Board, Council, the Principal Committees of Board, the Academic Committees of Council, and a Compliance Committee of Board and Council.
The Board of Trinity College Dublin
The Board is the governing authority of Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin.
The Principal Committees are established by the Board to assist it in the performance of its functions. There are currently six Principal Committees, listed below.
- Audit Committee
- Critical Infrastructure Committee
- Environment and Sustainability Committee
- Finance Committee
- People and Culture Committee
- Risk and Compliance Committee
University Council
The University Council is the academic council of the University, and subject to financial constraints, is responsible for College's academic affairs including curriculum development and academic appointments.
The Academic Committees are established by the University Council, with the consent of Board, to assist the Council in the performance of its functions. There are currently five Academic Committees, listed below.
- Global Engagement Committee
- Graduate Studies Committee
- Research Committee
- Student Life Committee
- Undergraduate Studies Committee
Board and/or Council may establish as many Compliance Committees as they think fit for the purposes of, or related to, compliance with applicable law and regulations.
Currently there is one Compliance Committee: the Quality Committee.
