In partnership with the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies, the Centre hosted a research seminar with Dr Dilyana Kiryakova-Ryan about her work on Europeanization in Bulgaria.
The paper discussed civic initiatives and democratic work in Bulgaria through the theoretical lense of Lacan’s ideas on desire.
