As part of the Literature and Resistance series, the Centre hosted a poetry reading by acclaimed poets Éireann Lorsung, Majed Mujed, and Hua Xi.
\The event was co-organised by the Centre, Poetry Ireland and the Trinity Long Room Hub. As part of this special event, the poets explored the nature of resistance in poetry, and how it informs their relationships with language, form, and translation, and reflected on their broader experiences with writing and poetry, which encompass journalism, teaching, and publishing, in the US, Iraq, and Ireland
