Ukrainian Play Readings at Trinity College Dublin
An evening of in-person Ukrainian play readings organised by the School of English. The Ukrainian Play Readings which took place in Trinity’s Samuel Beckett Theatre last spring will take place again in the Trinity Long Room Hub Arts and Humanities Research Institute and the Ukrainian Center this June. Each day features different plays / a different programme. The School of English is proud to present several plays which have been composed since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24th, 2022. The project invites theatres around the world to show solidarity with Ukraine by putting on readings of plays by Ukrainian playwrights, by giving their stories a platform. Please come and join us to show solidarity with these Ukrainian theatre makers. In lieu of charging for tickets they ask for donation to Come Back Alive / Повернись Живим @ https://savelife.in.ua/en/ For more information on the Worldwide Ukrainian Play Reading Project, see: https://www.citd.us/worldwide-ukrainian-play-readings, or the instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tcd_ukrainian_play_readings/ Please register here.
