Marina Odalovi has been employed at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade since 2007. She graduated from the same faculty in 2005 where she defended her doctoral dissertation in the field of Social Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Practice in 2013. During her professional development, she completed postgraduate diploma in Pharmaceutical Care (2007), Pharmaceutical Management and Marketing (2012), Pharmacoeconomics and Pharmaceutical Legislation (2012) and one-year program in the field of medical education (2017, University of Dundee, Scotland). Afterwards, she participated in development and implementation of teaching competencies development program accredited by the Council of the University of Belgrade. Her research interest includes pharmacoepidemiology (predominantly medicines use among pregnant women, antibiotic use, and self-medication), as well as pharmaceutical services development and implementation. Her resent interests are directed towards research and development of digital technologies as support in provision of pharmaceutical services and pharmacists education. She was the principal investigator within the Innovation Fund project, the Proof of Concept program, dedicated to development of a digital platform for pharmaceutical services (2020-2021). She has been appointed as a coordinator responsible for ECTS mobility of students and academic staff within the Erasmus + program, as well as the coordinator responsible for the implementation and improvement of pharmacy student professional practice. She is a Board member of the Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe from 2021. She is currently engaged with the Trinity College Dublin as a research fellow within the ITC-TILDA project Examining Quality, Use and Impact of Psychotropic (Use) in older adults with intellectual disabilities (EQUIP).
