An in-person seminar by Rüdiger Görner (Queen Mary University of London) as part of the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies Seminar Series. Rüdiger Görner reads from his literary works, poetry and prose. He will read segments from the following works:   - Klam. Erzählung (2013)   - An den Mond in der Nacht seiner Finsternis. Gedichte eines Sommers (2018)   - The Marble Song. (2021)   - Lotmans Kunst. Roman in Bruchstücken (2022)   - Dichterlos. Frühe Gedichte: 1978-1991 (2022) Born in 1957, Rüdiger Görner has lived in London since 1981 as a writer, academic, and literary critic. He is the founder of the Ingeborg Bachmann Centre for Austrian Literature and the Founding Director of the Centre for Anglo-German Cultural Relations at Queen Mary University of London where he holds the Centenary Professorship in German with Comparative Literature. Professor Görner is a Fellow of the Deutsche Akademie für Sprache und Dichtung and was awarded the Deutscher Sprachpreis in 2012.
