Queer Possibility Artist Talk with Kian Benson Bailes Thursday 2 March, 6.30pm - 7.30pm The Douglas Hyde is delighted to announce the upcoming talk by artist Kian Benson Bailes, in which he will explore queer possibility as a gateway to creating new narratives, in the context of his own practice and Bassam Al-Sabah’s exhibition 'IT’S DANGEROUS TO GO ALONE! TAKE THIS'. Free to attend but booking required. Kian Benson Bailes graduated from IADT with a BA in visual arts practice. His current practice is interested in queer culture and history and their intersection with institutions and bodies of authority through a multi-media art practice that uses collage, sculpture, installation and digital processes.
