IDS-TILDA Wave 5 Report Launch
The Intellectual Disability Supplement to the Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (IDS-TILDA) Wave 5 report will be formally launched by Minister Anne Rabbitte, TD, Minister of State with responsibility for Disability at an event to be held at the Tercentenary Hall, Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute, 152 - 160 Pearse St, Dublin 2. 9.30am: Registration (refreshments will be served 09.30-10.00) 10.00am: Report Launch The launch will include a presentation by Professor Mary McCarron, Principal Investigator, IDS-TILDA, outlining the report’s key findings. Topics covered will include social determinants of health, physical health, psychological well-being and healthcare utilisation and will focus on any inter-generational differences among people with an intellectual disability. Broadcaster Olivia O’Leary will then chair a discussion with a panel of academics, clinicians, family members and policy makers. 12.30pm: light lunch will be served CPD / CEU NMBI post-registration Category 1 approval for 3 CEU’s has been received for this event.
