As part of Rough Magic’s 40th anniversary celebrations, Trinity College School of English and The Drama Department, Samuel Beckett Centre, TCD host a special series of discussions delving into the beginnings and workings of forty years of magic! Friday 6.30pm We Are All Still Talking To Each Other! The seven founding members of Rough Magic discuss the beginning of everything in Front Square. Saturday 10.00am It Was Always About The Directors..? Rough Magic’s illustrious line up of Associate Artists discuss Rough Magic, SEEDS and Life Beyond… Saturday 11.45am It Was Always About The Actors… Key performers talk about the Rough Magic experience and who had the biggest part. Saturday 2.15pm It Was Always About The Applause… Fans of the company discuss the work of the four decades and what makes Rough Magic so special. Saturday 4.00pm Actually, It Was Always About The Plays! An in depth look at the eclectic choice of work; with an eye to the next 40 years.
