Dismantling Structural Racism
What are the issues being faced by students and staff in Trinity College today? What does structural racism look like? Is it here? Do we see it? Do we feel it? What do we do with it? How do we even talk about it? Who's responsibility is it? Does it matter?
In this session, Dr Arya will use techniques to draw-out the views, opinions, and experiences of participating students and staff in a very safe space. Her vast experience in this sphere allows her to draw on a multitude of tools to explore this often uncomfortable topic.
This session is open to all students and all staff. Places are limited, so you are asked to register in advance through Eventbrite (please cancel in advance if you become unavailable as the session has a waiting list):
There is wheelchair access. There is an in-person event. There isn't an online event. There is basic seating. There is blue badge parking, by request in advance. There isn't an ISL interpreter, a standard accessibility contact statement on all publicity, or a designated quiet space.
