Birth Story
We hope that you will join us for this original devised theatre performance about labour and birth as experienced by two women. Developed and performed by Gráinne Curistan, Berlinda Mapa and Helen McGrath: directed by Gráinne Curistan. The performance is a production created as part of the European Researchers’ Night 2023 and inspired by the research carried out at the Trinity Centre for Maternal Care Research (TCMCR). Each event will have a running time of approximately 35 minutes: 15 minute performance followed by a 20 minute panel discussion. The performance will be the same at both 5.30pm and 6.30pm however the panel discussion may differ, depending on questions or comments from the audience. Doors open at 5pm Performance 1 starts at 5:30pm sharp Performance 2 starts at 6:30pm sharp There will be no late admittance to either performance: attendees are advised to be seated at least 10 minutes in advance. Light refreshments will be provided
