A Woman’s Place: A celebration of female Full Professors from the School of Medicine in Trinity College Dublin.

This event is in celebration of female Full Professors from the School of Medicine at TCD and to mark the appointment of the first ever female Regius Professorship of Physic at Trinity College Dublin, Regius Rose Anne Kenny. All full professors who are physician scientists from the school are being invited to give an overview of their careers, research and education  in light of the challenges and opportunities of being a female clinician scientist. The event will be hosted by Regius Kenny MD, FRCP, FRCPI, FRCP Edin, FESC, FTCD, FFPHMI (Hon), MRIA, D.Sc. h.c. Professor of Medical Gerontology, TCD and Consultant Physician at St James’s Hospital, Dublin. I am delighted to announce that Dame Louise Robertson, Regius Professor Primary Care,  Newcastle Upon Tyne will also speak. Dame Robertson one of only two other female Regius professors in the UK and Ireland.
