The School of Social Sciences and Philosophy has launched its Public Autumn Lecture Series 2026, Europe: Values and Choices. Running across four Thursday evenings this autumn, the series brings together academics from the departments of Economics, Philosophy, Political Science and Sociology to examine the choices shaping Europe's future.
Dates: Thursdays - 24 September, 01, 08 and 15 October 2026
Times: 19.00 to 20.30
Location: Synge Theatre, Arts Building, Trinity College Dublin.

As Ireland currently holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the School of Social Sciences and Philosophy's third annual Public Autumn Lecture Series turns its attention to Europe: Values and Choices. Across four evenings, leading academics from Trinity take on some of the most pressing questions facing the continent, from the housing crisis to transatlantic security.
