Description
Among the major classical Latin epics, the Argonautica of Valerius Flaccus has the least reliable textual tradition and still lacks a satisfactory critical edition. By focusing on Book 1 of the Argonautica, an international team of researchers will explore different ways in which our knowledge and understanding of Valerius’ text can be improved.
