Dedicated to performing and commissioning new and experimental music, violinist Larissa O’Grady has a wide-ranging repertoire, from Baroque and twentieth century works to new compositions by today’s composers. Her work spans solo, duo and chamber music, as well as symphony and opera orchestras, and includes collaborations with musicians, dancers, poets and visual artists. Extended violin techniques and collaborative performance are central to her practice.
This concert features new works by fourth-year Music students taking Collaboration with Musicians, a composition module led by Dr Evangelia Rigaki, School of Creative Arts:
