Overview
Postgraduate students can apply for Trinity campus accommodation, however the number of rooms reserved for this cohort is very small. Postgraduate students can also apply for 3rd Party Student Accommodation.
- Postgraduate students are not eligible to apply for Trinity Hall.
- Most postgraduate students should look for private accommodation outside of Trinity. Follow this guide for finding private accommodation.
- Only registered students are granted accommodation. Students going off books for any reason during the academic year will be required to vacate their rooms.
- Postgraduate students living on campus will have to move out in May, but may request to move to Trinity Hall for the summer. To apply for this please fill out this form.

Trinity Campus
Trinity Campus is an official residence of Trinity College that is recommended for all students but particularly for new entrants to College. There is a vibrant sense of community at Trinity Hall with an active Junior Common Room which organises a diverse range of activities making the Hall an ideal place to make friends and get acquainted.
But there are more than the social activities to consider as Trinity Hall is organised as an academic community with the appropriate supports and just the right amount of reasonable regulation.

Kavanagh Court/3rd Party Student Accommodation
Trinity has an exclusive partnership with Kavanagh Court, a modern city centre student accommodation complex in Dublin 1. Located just a 15 minute walk to Trinity campus, it is on the doorstep of some of the best restaurants, bars, cinemas and shops in the area.
Please note Kavanagh Court is owned and operated by an independent Purpose Build Student Accommodation Provider, Yugo. Trinity has no influence whatsoever over the policies, procedures or decisions including early termination policy made by the operator.
Rooms are available for a 38 week occupancy and the weekly rate is €298 per week. Please note when all rooms in Kavanagh Court are filled, students might be nominated to another 3rd Party Student Accommodation provider by Trinity.

Here! Cork Street/3rd Party Student Accommodation
Trinity has an exclusive partnership with Here! Cork Street, a student accommodation complex in Dublin 8. Located 2km from Trinity campus.
Please note Here! Cork Street is owned and operated by an independent Purpose Build Student Accommodation Provider. Trinity has no influence whatsoever over the policies, procedures or decisions including early termination policy made by the operator.

Cork Street offers a variety of En-Suites and Studio rooms on 41 & 51 week contracts with rates starting from €297 per week.
7th September 2024 to 21st June 2025 (41 weeks). Students coming on certain programmes (SSP, Smart Start, etc.), which start before term, will be able to move in early for the duration of the programme.

FAQs
No, you have to wait until you have the Trinity ID/Application number. Do NOT register as a CAO applicant, as this is incorrect and will be deleted.
Yes, you are considered a Postgraduate student in the 5th year, so you are eligible to apply, however please note the above information.
Yes, you can place an application during the academic year, but it will be reviewed only if there are any vacancies available. If you need housing due to change of your health, you should submit a Additional Needs Application in addition to your room application.
Applications are reviewed after the applications close, and you should hear from us as per the outlined application periods above; you should not contact us until mid-June. If application is made after the start of the Academic Year, we advise to consider private accommodation. The application will be added to our Waiting List, but we will only contact the applicant if a vacancy arises.
