Quality Committee 2012/13 

NEW MEMBERS REQUIRED

Applications are invited from academic staff and central administrative/support service staff who are interested in becoming members of the Quality Committee commencing at the start of the 2012/13 academic year. The term of office for members shall be three years and no member may stand for more than two consecutive terms of office.

The Quality Committee is a Compliance Committee of Board & Council and it normally meets at least once a term.

Six positions on the Committee have been set aside for academic staff representatives (two from each of the Faculties) and two positions for representatives from central administrative and support staff.

The Quality Committee is the only College Committee that invites self nomination for membership. Applications are now invited from those members of staff who do not already carry a senior managerial or administrative role within their School/Area and who are on either a permanent contract, a contract of indefinite duration, or a contract of three years or greater.

Where necessary an advisory group selected from some of the Vice-Provost/Chief Academic Officer, the Faculty Deans, the Chief Operating Officer and the Academic Secretary will review applications.
