All diplomas and certificates are publicly awarded, on those who have successfully completed a diploma and/or certificate course. These College awards are bestowed in the student’s registered name within class, by the Registrar of the College and University.
Those eligible are automatically scheduled for the award following publication of results confirming the satisfactory completion of the final examination. Students are assigned to an award ceremony on the basis of the schedule of ceremonies drawn up annually. The Student and Graduate Records Office subsequently issues a letter of invitation the student to attend the award ceremony assigned.
These award ceremonies are conducted in English, and take place in the Public Theatre, in the Front Square of the College.
If you wish to have your certificate / diploma awarded in absentia please make a request by email to the Student and Graduate Records Office with your student name, student number, date of birth and course details.
Postponement of the award is not permitted. Successful students who are unable to attend on the appointed day will have their award bestowed in absentia.
The Student and Graduate Records Office will issue, by registered post, the certificate / diploma parchment to those candidates admitted to the award in absentia. Alternatively, candidates who wish to collect their parchments in person should contact the Student and Graduate Records Office.
