ProACT

Project PI: Professor John Dinsmore 

ProACT (Integrated Technology Systems for ProACTive Patient Centred Care) is an EU-funded Horizon 2020 project in PHC-25-2015. ProACT targets Europe’s 50 million multimorbid patients to proactively self-manage and offset the EU’s annual €700 billion cost of chronic disease management. ProACT aims to develop and evaluate an ecosystem to integrate a wide variety of new and existing technologies to improve and advance home-based integrated care for older adults with multimorbidity, including associated co-morbidities.

visuAAL

Project PI: Professor John Dinsmore 

The ageing population represents a crucial health and social challenge with relative economic impacts due to the increasing provision of care. The innovation introduced by Active and Assisted Living (AAL) solutions addresses social and healthcare demands while taking advantage of the economic opportunities offered by the Silver Economy. However, some of these solutions make use of smart cameras, raising concerns over privacy protection.

SEURO

Project PI: Professor John Dinsmore 

SEURO aims to explore the optimisation and transferability of digital health solutions across the EU. This will be achieved via an the development and implementation of three new digital self-assessment tools: ProTransfer, ProBCF-C and ProInsight with the ProACT platform. These tools will respectively aim to assess organisational transferability, digital solution optimisation and impact of a digital solution on health services.

Gravitate Health

Project PI: Professor Catherine Mc Cabe

The Gravitate Health is a public – private partnership with 41 members from Europe and the US, co-led by University of Oslo (coordinator) and Pfizer (industry lead), funded by the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) – a joint undertaking of the European Commission, the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), IMI2 Associated Partners.

Your Challenge-driven, Accessible, Research-based, Mobile European University 

We are an European University alliance, co-funded by the Erasmus + Programme, between the University of Barcelona (coordinator), Trinity College Dublin, Utrecht University, the University of Montpellier,  Eötvös Loránd University Budapest, Åbo Akademi University, Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg, Ruhr West University of Applied Sciences and the University of Bergen. At CHARM-EU we work together to design and create a new university model to become a world example of good practice to increase the quality, international competitiveness and attractiveness of the European Higher Education landscape.

NETHATE

Project PI: Dr. Jan De Vries

The overall mission of the NETHATE is to examine the dynamics of the spread of hate in both offline and online fora, mitigation and reconciliation strategies, and the impact on victims and bystanders. Each PhD project within NETHATE will provide a piece in this jigsaw.
