This year due to the current restrictions in place our annual TCD Open Day, which was held on Saturday 6th November 2021, went virtual. It was a huge success.

Interest was high in Computer Science and related disciplines. We were inundated with requests from potential students who attended the online presentations and lectures, interacted with staff and heard more about the ‘science’ of Computer Science, our many courses and career paths. The Live Q&A session were a great success and attracted lots of enquiries from potential SCSS students.

Our student ambassadors signed up in numbers to help prospective students make more informed choices about their college courses and learn the ‘whats’, ‘whys’ and the ‘how to’ relating to all courses on offer.

If you know of any second level students who couldn’t make it to our Virtual Open Day and who would like to find out more about any of our courses, ask them to make contact with us @ events@scss.tcd.ie. Likewise, those who joined us and reflected on the day may also have unanswered questions.

Our thanks to all who participated - prospective students, parents, and our students and staff at the School.
