Trinity College annually attracts undergraduates from Britain, Europe, North America and Asia, who come here to learn and expand their cultural horizons in the environment of an international student body. Every year the Department of Religions and Theology is pleased to be one of the those departments in which overseas students choose to study.

Irish School of Ecumenics

Semester Abroad in Northern Ireland

Trinity College's Study Abroad Semester in Northern Ireland offers students from partner institutions (currently Swarthmore College and the University of Southern California) the opportunity to take specialist undergraduate modules in the fields of conflict, peace and reconciliation at the Irish School of Ecumenics in Belfast. A similar Dublin based programme is currently being developed.

Student Exchange Programme

The ISE offers a student exchange programme for three students each year between the ISE and Saint Paul University in Ottawa, Canada, with a specific focus on peace studies and conflict resolution programmes at each of the universities.

The Loyola Institute

The Loyola Institute, dedicated to education and research in theology in the Catholic tradition, welcomes visiting students to the modules it will begin to teach from September 2013. It is envisaged that visiting studentships and exchange opportunities will be an integral part of the developing programmes of the Institute, details of which will soon be available here:
