The international conference “Emergence of Classicality: New Perspectives on Measurements in Quantum Theory" (EoC24) will take place in Dublin at Trinity College from the 15th to 19th of July 2024 and will bring together leading experts as well as younger scientists working on topics in the foundation of quantum physics.

The conference is devoted to quantum measurement, quantum paradoxes, the emergence of classicality and objectivity, quantum thermodynamics, equilibration of closed systems and related experiments. The aim is to create an opportunity for fruitful exchanges on foundational and philosophical aspects regarding quantum measurement and quantum thermodynamics.

It will an in person conference (no online/hybrid contributions) with invited and contributed talks, and poster presentations.
