Jen Cummins

Biography

Jen has worked in Ballymun Anseo School Completion Programme since its inception in 2007. The programme is to support children and young people to be successful in school and to continue in education until the equivalent to the Leaving Certificate. Jen was Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Educate Together for five years and previous to that she was on the board for a further 3 years. She continues to be involved in a number of its sub committees. Jen is completing a Doctorate in Education with research in the area of the lived experience of young people who left mainstream education before the established leaving certificate. Jen teaches on the B.Ed course in DCU in the area of ethics.
