 About the Symposium

This international symposium brings together scholars from across disciplines to explore the relationship between bodily experience and eschatological imagination in religious traditions and apocalyptic movements. This event is supported by Trinity Centre for Biblical Studies (TCBS), Cambridge Centre for the Critical Study of Apocalyptic and Millenarian Movements (CenSAMM), the Panacea Charitable Trust, and Trinity Long Room Hub Arts & Humanities Research Institute. It has been initiated and curated by current PhD candidates at the School of Religion, Theology, and Peace Studies (SRTPS), including Irene Barbotti, Maicol Cortes, Simon Brummer, and Hairuo Wang.
