Caru AIIHPC Webinar: Having the Pallative Care Conversation with People with Intellectual Disability

Delivered by Prof. Eilish Burke, this webinar focuses on developing an understanding of disenfranchised grief in people with intellectual disabilities. Participants gained knowledge on how to encourage and engage in informal discussions about death and grief. The session also highlighted the importance of end-of-life conversations and provided strategies for preparing these discussions. Additionally, it explored ways to facilitate formal and structured end-of-life conversations effectively.
