Welcome to the Trinity Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies

The Trinity Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies (CMRS) was established in 1999, and organises conferences, seminars, and public lectures on a regular basis. It promotes collaboration through its various Research Networks, which range from Early-Modern Gardens to Chaucer, from Byzantine Studies to Early-Modern Women in Europe.

CMRS publishes a refereed book series: Court Cultures of the Middle Ages and Renaissance. CMRS has developed close ties with a number of other institutions, including the Society for Renaissance Studies, and is a member of CARMEN, the Confederation for the Advancement of Research through a Medieval European Network.
