Thank you to everyone who has completed the Blackboard Ultra training so far. Over 80% of staff in some schools have completed their training, and we would love to see more schools get to that stage this month.
Online, instructor-led webinar training will finish on 30th May 2025.
If you have not completed your training yet, please do so as soon as possible to ensure modules can be migrated to the new system in time for the next academic year.

What is the benefit of doing the training now?
Booking the online instructor-led training sets you up for a smooth, successful transition to Blackboard Ultra ahead of the new academic year.
A key benefit of completing the training now means you can avail of 30-minute bookable one-to-one support sessions to help you start migrating your modules until 13th June. Migrating just one module now gives you a better understanding of the new system and will be good practise for moving all your modules. If any issues arise, the IT team will be there to help you though these sessions.
After 30th May, self-paced training will still be available, but one-to-one support sessions will cease on 13th June 2025. If further support is needed, this will need to be logged with the IT Service Desk and there will be no dedicated one-to-one sessions available.
