The 'New Haven School' pioneered by Harold Laswell and Myres MacDougal at the Yale Law School in the mid-20th century represented an ambitious project of anti-formalist international law that left an indelible imprint on US foreign policy. The School of Law invites you join them as they discuss the New Haven School, its ambivalent legacy, and its uncertain future with the author of the definitive account of its origins.
