This one-day conference brings together second-level and third-level practitioners to celebrate the centenary of Leaving Certificate Greek and Latin (1925) and the introduction of new specifications (syllabuses) in both subjects (2025). All welcome.

Join us to celebrate the centenary of the Leaving Certificate! The first candidates in Ancient Greek and Latin sat their Leaving Certificate Exams in 1925. One hundred years later, new specifications are due to be taught for the first time. This conference will bring together second- and third-level practitioners to explore the history of the subjects, current challenges, and the opportunities represented by the new specifications. All welcome!
