Professor Louis Brennan, Fellow Emeritus, Trinity Business School, offers insight and historical context in an article on the deal between the United States and the European Union which may have averted a transatlantic trade war, but worries persist in in Ireland where crucial sectors are dependent on US multinationals. Dr Peter Crooks, School of Histories and Humanities, is mentioned in an opinion piece in the Irish Times on the Virtual Treasury Record of Ireland Project which states, 'Boldly imaginative and ambitious, this project was conceived by Dr Peter Crooks of Trinity College Dublin in 2015 and has involved great effort on the part of archivists and historians to locate material in Irish and international archives.'
