Professor Eunan O’Halpin, Fellow Emeritus, School of Histories and Humanities, joins a panel of experts to discuss the incredible evacuation of Allied forces from Dunkirk in May 1940, on Newstalk Radio’s ‘Talking History’ on 25 May 2025: 85 Years On: Operation Dynamo and the Battle of Dunkirk.

 

Dr Simone McCaughren, School of Social Work and Social Policy, Trinity College Dublin, and Dr Aisling Parkes, School of Law, UCC, write a comment piece about a new research report they authored which shows how the in-camera rule can leave some people traumatised by proceedings.
