Professor Ruth Barton, Fellow Emeritus, School of Creative Arts, writes this article on a new documentary ‘Testimony’ on the Magdalene Laundries saying that ‘scandal of the religious-run Magdalene laundries, where young women deemed to have offended the moral code of the Catholic Church were incarcerated and put to work, is a stain on the public history of the Irish state’. Professor Ian Robertson, Fellow Emeritus School of Psychology and TCIN, appeared on radio to provide expert comment on a recent study which found that there are four pivotal ‘turning points’ in our lives where our brains change on RTÉ Radio1 Today with David McCullagh on 26 November 2025: Do our brains only reach “adult mode” in your 30s.
Trinity Long Room Hub (TLRH). News and media coverage of the presentation of the Inaugural Trinity European Laureate Award to former Taoiseach Enda Kenny in recognition of his leadership when Ireland previously held the Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2013.
